Purchased this Controller for my 2005 1800 VTX after a ride with a Harley Bud, who had a simular Controller from Harley.
Installation was a snap, remembering Read Twice...Read again...then begin.
Only problem was finding Red PY-21W Bulbs, with 150 degree offset pins.
When I finally got the correct Blubs, Headlight and Rear Light Dimmed when using Turn Signals and Braking flash.
Contacted Kuryakyn Tech........Extremely Helpfull, but could not pinpoint problem.
Decided to replaced Bulbs with 20 element Red LED's.....outcome was SUPER.
Recommend going with LED replacements from the start....You will not be sorry and you WILL be seen.

5Well worth the money

I had a set on my VTX, and finally got around to ordering a set for my Aero. Had to make a small mod on the Aero as the brake connector is different, but it is worth it given just how much more visible the RTB makes the bike.

4Good product, tardy deliver

I bought it for my brother, whose wife said he was spending too much money on his bike. He had purchased the same item as an 'open package' bargain, only to find out that the device was defective. Kuryakyn refused to replace the defective device because of the fact that the package wasopen. Purchasing this item solved the delimma. The seller took a bit more time than I like before shipping-especially since it was intrastate.
