4Pretty Nice Battery

Definitely a lot smaller and lighter. I installed it in my 2008 CBR 1000RR. Not sure what the deal was, but the OEM strap that held down my battery was really hard to get back on with this battery. I don't know why, as this battery is smaller in all dimensions. These types of batteries are supposed to hold their charge when not in use, much better than a normal battery. I don't ride my CBR much, and I had a "no charge" battery a few times after sitting for a few months. I do have an alarm system, and though it wasn't armed (Garage Kept), I suspect it had some kind of parasitic draw. To fill in the extra space around the new battery, I taped a couple of the plastic inserts found in ammunition boxes (the ammo sits in these) togethor and then attached some of the included foam to the inserts. I'd recommend you buy the Shorai Battery charger if you don't ride it a lot. There are some issues with some battery tenders and chargers with this Shorai Battery, so read-up on which ones can be used.

5Best Battery ever.

It has been 6 Months since i purchased this item
it is far more superior that the batteries purchased at the local auto parts, although a little high price but well worth the extra cost.
